How do you sell one of the world's oldest and most popular items, again and again? What do you do when almost everyone who wants one, has one - sometimes three times over? What happens when you simply can't strongarm the Gideons into placing higher orders? Why, you put your product in a snazzy tote of course. Or, at least, that's only what I imagine must be the marketing genius behind "Bible in a Bag," retailing for $19.96 at your local Wal-Mart. Of course, the tote/Holy book combo might be a seasonal item meant for all the beach-goers who don't want to feel embarrassed because their scripture doesn't coordinate with their beach towel. I just don't know.
